A bulletin board post by one Wendy McBain, Perth, W. Australia, who declared that she had all the children of Francis McBean and Anne McIntosh m. 04 June 1818 and was trying to establish who was the father of Francis.

Hugh is recorded as not born in same county as current parish. Ann’s birthplace has conflicting records: under the heading “Where Born”, in response to “if born in Scotland, whether in Co. or other”, the letter “N” (i.e. suggesting born in Scotland but not in this county); but also a “tick” mark in response to the question “Whether Foreigner, or whether born in England or Ireland”.
